two successful install reports (except for hostname problem)

Two install reports here; comments at bottom.

base-config: [O] (priority wrong)
[O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it

Comments/Problems:

All recent problems are fixed, except for:

- still old busybox, so 32 mb won't work (should be fixed in tommorrow's CD)
- still ?????????????? in languagechooser for arabic; Petter has a fix
that should go in tomorrow or this will be a FAQ
- parted is probably still broken, but that did not effect this install
(should be fixed in tomorrow's CD)
- base-config priority is still low; my hack to fix this did not quite
work. A new, working hack will be in the archive soon..
- pcmcia is still hosed on the laptop (not a surprise)

New problem:
After retrying with a fixed base-config priority hack, I found a hostname
problem. netcfg asks the hostname at medium priority, so it is not shown
by default, and defaults to "debian". base-config can also configure the
hostname, but base-config asks at priority medium if the hostname is
already set, so this is not shown either. The system ends up being called
"debian" with no prompt for hostname. Of all the possible hostnames to
have to grep around in /etc after the fact and change, "debian" has to be
  the worst possible choice. :-P

I think the best fix for this would be to make netcfg ask at priority
high for a hostname. The other option is to make base-config ask at high
if the hostname is "debian", but to get this into beta 2 would delay the
beta by at least 3 days (testing propigation). Also, by the time we get
to base-config, the hostname has been encoded in more files than
base-config knows about (including: motd, pap-secrets, hosts).

I also think we should ask for a hostname if dhcp does not provide one,
instead of again defaulting to "debian".

If we don't fix this, it will need to go into the errata.

Everything else was slick. This is very very close to release quality, I
think, but needs one more day to stabalise, and of course some more
testing.
