Re: detecting keyboard and mouse

I'm working on kbd-chooser, a  keyboard configuration udeb for
debian-installer. I intend to have working code by the end of the month
(I'll submit current stuff to CVS, so you can see progress); its based
on the console-tools/data and kbd packages.

For the moment, I recommend using the existing
console-{tools,common,data} packages.
