I've noticed that unlike debconf, cdebconf does not put Owners fields in its templates.dat files. Besides making the format not really compatable with debconf's and thus breaking several tools (sigh..), this makes me wonder: How does cdebconf handle removing old templates when all questions that use them go away? Such as when a package is purged. Debconf would not know it could remove a template except that it keeps track of what questions use it by way of the Owner field. -- see shy jo
