You don't say so, but I assume you want to install Debian stable (woody)
via tftp. Why do you say that the images are useless? Which files did
you try? What did you attempt? What happened as a result? Were any
error messages displayed? Also, it would help if you gave more clues as
to your hardware and network setup.

For starters, you probably want to download a tftp image from, eg.:
<http://ftp.debian.org/dists/woody/main/disks-i386/current/bf2.4/tftpboot.img>
You can change the flavor as appropriate here..............^^^^^
Then setup your BOOTP/DHCP server to have the image loaded when the
client boots. See the doc mentioned below for more info.

Hmm, I wonder where you looked for instructions...the install manual is
linked directly on the debian homepage (http://www.debian.org). Also,
did you check google? The first link when searching for "debian install
manual" should lead you to the right place. For a direct link, try:
<http://ftp.debian.org/dists/woody/main/disks-i386/current/doc/ch-install-methods.en.html#s-install-tftp>

Well, I tried...more detailed information will usually get better
results in return ;-)
