Hello all, based on the attached bug report, I think it's time to inform you about the existence of two new tools for the debian-installer which replace most of the packages from the di-utilities. tools/partitioner allow the disk partitioning tools/partconf Handle the whole mk(fs|swap)/(u)mount/... process These two packages make the di-utils outdated. So, please test these two packages and report bug against. The old di-utils are currently stay in the archive, because both tools above need a lot more feature enhancments. And you can use it, as long as the other udebs doesn't work correctly. If the d-i is a little bit more stabled they will removed. Thanks Thorsten ----- Forwarded message from Alastair McKinstry <mckinstry@computer.org> ----- [...] Package: di-utils-mount-partitions Version: 0.19 (not installed) Severity: normal If offering partitions to be umounted, ensure that either - (1) child partitions are umounted too, or (2) parents aren't offered. e.g. if / and /boot are mounted, either umounting / also umounts /boot (possibly giving warning), or / shouldn't be offered until /boot umounted. I'd recommend the first. [...] ----- End forwarded message ----- -- Thorsten Sauter <tsauter@gmx.net> (Is there life after /sbin/halt -p?)
