There is also 2b, a live filesystem with large libs on the CD. This has both pros and cons. Pro, it's a general solution for including big things in the installer since CD space is cheaper than ramdisk space. Con, it's one more mechanism to support, compared with just having udebs in the ramdisk, and it won't work for net install. There are probably more pros and cons, but those were the ones I could think of from the top of my head. :) /Martin
