Howdy, As is often the case, I managed to track down a bug that had already been resolved: anna's menutest was causing the net installation to fail. It wrote to standard output, which confused cdebconf. Reinstating the menutest, and making main-menu redirect the standard output of menutests to /dev/null, seems like a more robust solution. OK?
