I do not understand this hostility

By default, you can only load modules after the harddrive is
configured.  It is not possible to configure the harddrive before the
megaraid driver is loaded.  This leads to the conclusion that it is
impossible to install Debian on Dell PowerEdge 2650 using the normal
boot floppies.  Your expressions quoted above makes me wounder if this
is intentional or not.

Of course, your suggested solution making special floppies do work,
but why should it be necessary?
