how does one create boot-floppies for woody of different flavors?, missing network driver

I ask because the floppies I am using bf2.4 (woody)
do not include smc 9332 variant network cards, and
neither does the idepci variant. 

So how can I add this?

If I used the cdrom would this problem be eliminated?
