Except if you are not using the language chooser or if you exit the
shell after having chosen language in the LC.

OK, I did not know that only the tty1 (dbootstrap) was intended to be
translated. The translation was never used in the place I expected it
to. Oh well...

Actually I would be very happy to see bf ask for the root disk in
non-english when LC is not used. It should be possible without black
magic, but I wouldn't dare asking for it now :-)
