There appear to be two different bugs here. 1. white screen of death, at boot right as the installer is trying to start it keeps segfaulting. This happens on some machine and not on others, with some disks and not others. 2. dbootstrap segfaults during the base system install. It isn't clear that this bug is related to the white screen at boot. -David
