Package: boot-floppies
Version: N/A; reported 2001-12-02
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system

After installing debian on my ss10 after re-booting (install went fine)
the kernel sent all its messages to the serial console but there was
no getty started there.

I had to edit inittab by hand which is not the way this it is intended
because in inittab it even said that this fail shouldn't be modified
by hand.

Adam Di Carlo told me to open this bug-report and you can get more info
in our thread we had on debian-boot.

This should be fixed in the recent upload of boot-floppies (though it
looks like the sparc build is still missing).
