On other comment: it says "Extracting .../whiptail..." for a long
time.
The first time this happened, I thought it had crashed. The fact I
didn't have tty2 available to check didn't help :-(. The next time I
found it was unpacking all the packages again with dpkg (very slow
process on this computer...).
Of course, the debug output is on ALT+F4, but I was confused when
ALT+F1 said unpacking whiptail, but ALT+F4 said unpacking libc6...
I find the current behaviour confusing, and think the message should
change after it has unpacked whiptail.
Also: creation of the boot disk (last step before rebooting) failed. I
can't see any errors though, anywhere, that would indicate why. The
problem seems to be coming from superformat though, as that is the
only step executed (as per Alt+F3) before it fails - will look at that
after rebooting.
