It's spoken in the mid/north east coast of Spain, in the regions called
"Catalunya", "Pais Valencià" and "Balear Islands", mainly. It's also one
of Andorra's official languages (that tiny country in the Pyrinees), and
spoken in the south east of France and in a tiny village in Italy
(L'Alguer, in Cerdanya).

Can't give you the number of Catalan speakers right now, but quite some
millions.
