You mean, before restart but after base-system installed, we can apt-get
from a chroot for example? I you meant this then we won't need to write
the lilo-configurator for the d-i, we only need to ask the lilo's
maintainer to write a debconfized package (or send a patch to bts for
him), and calling apt-get install lilo as the installing lilo menupoint
from the main-menu. Can you tell some sentences about how should the
first reboot, bootloader installing will work in your opinion, I'm
afraid I missed something.
