Boot disks with filesystem encryption.

Hi guys. I'm wanting to install linux on a laptop and I want to expariment with encrypting the filesystem that the data is stored on. I know that a couple programs like losetup and mount will need to be modified and dropped in to place on the system at some point. Also since the drive on the laptop doesn't have enough space for the mirror I will need to access the debian package files over the internet and if possible the base file too. Also what boot disks should I use for installing woody with this setup?
thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Tommy
