Then can we have just the one from --get-selections? Problem with that is
it has no version numbers, just package name and status. Maybe we need a
special generated file from a script like:

for pkg in `dpkg --get-selections | grep 'install$' | awk '{print $1}'`; do
    ver=`dpkg -s $pkg | grep ^Version: | awk '{print $2}'`
    echo "$pkg $ver"
done

(add in the -r option for the chroot of course).
