Subject: Keyboard Hangs
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Package : Kernel
Version : Debian 2.1 stable downloaded 20. May 1999
architecture : m68k
model : Macintosh IIvx
scsi : builtin
cd-rom : SCSI Sony ??55??

After booting with the Penguin-Software, the Installer works fine but
after a while the keyboard hangs and the screen becomes white
(sometimes) but the Installer still works. The screen can be awaked by
pressing NMI twice but the Keyboard do not react.
It is not deterministic when the keyboard dies, mostly after a short
time without any actions.
Can you help ?
Regards
Guido Dampf

We believe that the bug you reported has been closed in the Potato
version of the boot-floppies. We may not have received a response
from you so we are closing this bug.

Please let us know if you find that the bug still exists in the potato
version of the boot-floppies, and we can re-open your bug.

Note that there are some temporary but serious problems with those
floppies you should know about on i386:

 - installation of base from floppy probably not working
 - the compact flavor may not work
