Bug#62225: Unresolved symbols in pcmcia modules

Package: boot-floppies
Version: Frozen
When I tried to install frozen on my Toshiba Tecra 8000, the computer hanged when i tried to configure pcmcia. With 'depmod -a /target' I'd got a screen full of *** unresolved target.
I tried several times and succeded when i earlier in the installation choosed to retain kernel 2.0 compability, when formatting the filesystem.
So when I choose not to retain kernel 2.0 compability the pcmcia installation fails, and if I choose to retain kernel 2.0 compability the pcmcia installation went fine.
Later in the installation I tried to configure DHCP for package installation, but i did not manage to do that. Maybe that is a possible future feature in the installation process, when I 'configure the network'.
