Me and the list. You can access the working sources via CVS -- the
documentation is all in SGML (debiandoc-sgml). See the README's and
the included README-CVS.
Regarding this in particular, it is very true we need better documentation
on i386 in particular about what the flavors include, what they support,
etc. Ideally, we could take /boot/config-* from the kernel-image-*
packages we use and maybe process that or even provide that to the user
to refer to. Even so, a high-level description is needed in the Install
Manual.
We do have the start of a high-level description in the top-level README,
which, in the sources, is README-Users.m4. Did you check that out?
