 Make sure you get the newest pcmcia-cs that was just uploaded.  We
 ought to create a patched `console-tools' also, one that has a
 startup script that will "echo -ne \033]R" to reset the vga 16
 palette.  I filed a bug but have not heard from the `console-tools'
 maintainer.
