Bug#60924: HTTP file retreival does not work.

  This bug (proxy problems) is already fixed in CVS, and that
  fix will be included in the 2.2.9 release of boot-floppies.

  This bug is also fixed, but not yet in CVS.  I will e-mail when
  it is in CVS and supply an URL where fixed disk images can be
  found.
