Bug#60924: HTTP file retreival does not work.

Package: boot-floppies
Version: potato

I am attempting to install the base system through the network.
I first tried to access http.us.debian.org through a proxy, but
this did not work. I then attempted to download base2_2.tgz
through an internal web server. The installation system fails
when the internal web server is accessed.

The log file on the web server (ip address 192.168.2.5) reports
that the Linux machine is attempting to access directory
/192.168.2.5:80/debian/dists/potato/main/disks-i386/current/,
which is obviously not valid. Why is the ip address of the HTTP
server added into the download path by the Debian installation
program?

The boot-floppies were built and the system install was
attempted on 2000-03-22 from the most recent version of the
boot-floppies on ftp.debian.org.
