When I booted again for the 1st time using LILO, I got the LI, but no
LO...the system then hung. I encountered no problem booting using the
boot floppy. I am running a dual PII 400 system with an IDE and SCSI
HD - LILO is installed on the SCSI (as debian doesn't give the option to
install on the IDE MBR, which is where redhat and BeOS both opted to
install boot loaders when I had used them in the past). Just wondering
if there was a reason for this, a way to put lilo on my IDE MBR so maybe
this won't happen again. Thanks.

We believe the bug you reported has been fixed as of the Potato boot flopppies,
version 2.2.8. Please let us know if not.
Remember that often bugs are filed against boot-floppies, when the should
be filed against modconf, base-config, kernel-image-2.2.14, or other
related packages. Please do you best to track down which package is the
culprit when creating bugs.
