the drivers disk/image contains a bunch of modules and config files that get
installed into /etc/pcmcia and /lib/modules/`uname -r`/pcmcia. these are
unpacked onto the harddisk not as packages because they may be needed to
install base or what not. i don't really see how we can change this, at
least in potato....
