Hm, I don't understand why the rest of the patch required that value be
tweaked. Unfortunatly, this airplane doesn't have the boot-floppies source
aboard, so I can't investigate.. 

I've often been annoyed by the way boot-floppies pauses before reboot. If
all that sleep is there for is to let the text propigate to a serial
console, couldn't it only happen if a serial console is in use?
