I don't personally like this patch much, since (as Vincent remarks)
quietly doing nothing when there is no valid /etc/fstab is only
the right behaviour for the base-system configuration situation.
I also think that even if we want to just say 'no fstab -> no configuring'
we should do it in liloconfig.
I'll try to come up with a patch to liloconfig that fits my personal
conception of the Right Thing :->
