Re: [NEWS] status of boot-flopppies

Hi Adam,

I just got back from my trip, and am catching up on email. I'm hoping to
finish up the task selector and have a alpha version before thanksgiving.
Just saw your mail tho, and have a question:

What does the "likewise with profiles" part mean?

Right now, the plan is to have a chooser list that displays all "task-*"
packages. It will (obviously) be able to select any combination of the task
packages for installation. The UI will also know about the dependencies and
show short descriptions of the dependent packages (right now, it will deal
with the depends, recommends and suggests fields).

On exit, the program will run apt-get with the selected packages.

I just want to make sure I understood what is required. We can add things as
we go, but it's probably best to try to think of everything at the onset.
