For *.html something as the web-server pages:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 treacy Debian 8680 Nov 8 19:31 index.de.html
-rw-rw-r-- 1 treacy Debian 7572 Nov 8 18:35 index.en.html
-rw-rw-r-- 1 treacy Debian 8662 Nov 8 20:59 index.es.html
-rw-rw-r-- 1 treacy Debian 7420 Nov 8 17:45 index.hr.html
lrwxrwxrwx 1 treacy Debian 13 Nov 8 18:35 index.html -> index.en.html
-rw-rw-r-- 1 treacy Debian 8524 Nov 8 20:16 index.ja.html
-rw-rw-r-- 1 treacy Debian 7085 Nov 8 20:36 index.ko.html
-rw-r--r-- 1 treacy Debian 7746 Nov 8 21:16 index.sv.html
But for this we need the same names for every language (the files in the
language directories), and that is the reason why i prefer it, and not
that every language-maintainer could name his pages just for his preferences.
Ahhh, sorry, this sound a little bit to hard.
Thanks,
Hartmut
