keymap conf & Co
Hi boot folks,
Just to let you know: I've started converting console-tools/data to
use debconf. Maybe you'll be interested in that. Maybe it could
serve as a base for unifying the keymap selection at bootstrap-time
and at later times.
Current status: selection of a keymap (specifying layout, country and
variant) from a static list derived from the architecture works.
Still needs better integration in the package, support for multiple
packages providing data files, and support for other data files
(fonts, ACMs, SFM fallbacks).
I will probably make something available in the next days - will let
you know.
