Hi,

hamm booted OK on my machine. slink does not. The usual lilo prompt is
printed using some weird characters (like Xz^&#@*pr:), it does not react to
Tab key presses and the whole computer freezes at this point. The same CD
boots on every other machine here in the office.

My machine differs from the others mainly in CPU: it is AMD K6-2 300. The
rest of people use Intel or Cyrix CPUs and there it works fine. Is the
SYS-LINUX 1.42 (or what's the name of the boot program) not AMD K6
compatible?
