The kernel uses the latest Adaptec driver. Alas, all versions of the
Adaptec drivers have been broken for one card or the other since months
ago. We plan to upload new boot-floppies with a different driver version
soon, but on the mean time you may try compiling a custom kernel and use
it on the rescue floppy.
