After installing Debian 2.0 in the dmesg I am informed the there are no modules for the kernel. In both the base installation and kernal-image-2.0.34_2.034-4.deb, the kernel in 2.0.35 while the modules are 2.0.34.
I know that in the aforementioned package it is labeled vmlinuz-2.0.34. I did modify /etc/lilio.conf to point at the new kernel and run lilo, etc.
