Perhaps that should be spun off into a thread of its own, worked on, and
then put forward to debian-policy@l.d.o? The idea does not seem new,
but rather something that has bothered us for many months. If it really
does have no negative impact on maintainers and enhances the quality of
Debian as a whole, I don't see why we shouldn't succeed.
