If you just want to mount an NFS file system, debian-user is probably
the better list to post to.

Server side needs:
portmap
nfs-common
nfs-kernel-server
/etc/exports configured to export /bin to the client IP

Clinet:
nfs-common

sounds to me like portmap isn't running on the server, but reading the
previously posted HOWTO's would be time well spent.
