I have the same openshot-qt version 2.5.1 in Ubuntu 20.04 and there it
works completely fine. If I downgrade to the stable version in Debian
(v2.4.3) it also works. Only the version in buster-backports has this
issue. Therefore I think it is specific to this backported version.

Could you reproduce this issue?
