Re: Why was linux-image-amd64 removed from Debian backports?

Because `linux-image-5.3.0-0.bpo.2-amd64` wasn't signed yet for secure boot.

You can install `linux-image-5.3.0-0.bpo.2-amd64-unsigned` if you don't care about secure boot.

Once `linux-image-5.3.0-0.bpo.2-amd64` is signed then metapackage would link to it.

Here is the queue: https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/linux-signed-amd64_5.3.9+2~bpo10+1.html

Dear Mantainers,
I've right now noticed that the kernel metapackage for AMD64 has been removed from backports.

Why? Are there any news in sight? How do you advise me to behave? Do you suggest to downgrade the package or just wait?

Thank you so much and best regards,
