You can always check that:
$ apt-cache rdepends libx265-79
libx265-79
Reverse Depends:
  libavcodec57
  libavcodec-extra57

There seems to be one more package which may need a rebuild/update:
bs1770gain

Generally a shared library rebuild does not make the rebuild of any
reverse dependency necessary.
In case of ffmpeg it was an update breaking the ABI thus kodi needs
at least a rebuild as well.
