aptitude does not know a property named "deprecated". Aptitude's idea

Yes, you can't install kernel 4.4 from backports anymore since kernel
4.5 is already there. That's intended.

That will happen very soon. While
https://packages.debian.org/jessie-backports/linux-image-amd64 still
shows 4.4, https://packages.qa.debian.org/l/linux-latest.html already
shows a newer release based on the current version in unstable.
