Same here, I can't see how you can blame ceph for the fact that it build
depends on packages that don't build on all arches. It seems to me that
you should rather complain to the maintainers of the leveldb backport
instead.

Why armhf and powerpc are BD-Uninstallable because of
libgoogle-perftools-dev I don't understand at all. This package is
present in wheezy on all released architectures. So this should not stop
a build attempt. Does anyone have more insight into this and can shed
some light on this?

Also s390 ist no longer a release architecture for jessie, so I fully
understand that one does not want to support it with packages that are
mainly targeted at jessie.
