Re: Pepperflashplugin in backport does not work

2014-09-14 12:25 GMT+02:00 Bart Martens <bartm@debian.org>:
Depends on what you mean by "older version".

The Debian package pepperflashplugin-nonfree is designed to always extract the
player from the newest Chrome package (within stable, beta or unstable).  The
Debian package pepperflashplugin-nonfree as-is does not support reverting to an
older player.  Going back to an older pepperflashplugin-nonfree won't help.

However, you may have older Chrome packages still in
/var/cache/pepperflashplugin-nonfree so then you can manually extract the
player from an old Chrome package and install that player manually.

Bart Martens

Thanks, Bart! It works!
Only an off-topic question: there is an automated way to clean this cache?
I fear that over time it can grow too, and in the doc I can't find anything!
