Regression in linux-image-3.11

Hello,

I do have an issue with the new 3.11.8-1~bpo70+1 image that wasn't present in the old 3.10.11-1~bpo70+1 - the external monitor isn't detected anymore, neither in console nor in X mode.

The issue is not 100% reproducible - monitor was detected once in about 5 boots. I thought variance was due to cold/warm boot, but it isn't.

In one of the "failed" boot, I noticed a "Duplicate ACPI video bus devices for the same VGA controller, please try module parameter "video.allow_duplicates=1"if the current driver doesn't work." Never noticed it with 3.10, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there. I haven't tried that option yet.

Setup:
Dell E6400 (core 2 duo) connected to a full HD monitor over DisplayPort.
