 For backports you don't need a preferences file.  After you installed a
specific package version from backports, the package will be enabled
automatically to pull updates from there, too.

 Mixing unstable into the round is not a good idea, and will give you
big troubles after a while when you start to pull in libc6 from there
and other (central) libraries.  Don't do it.
