In the future, please direct backport requests to
debian-backports@lists.debian.org.
To answer your question, in order for the latest version of
supertuxkart to be backported, a few of the libs that supertuxkart
depends on needs to be backported as well (enet and irrlicht). Even if
those packages were backported, as supertuxkart's maintainer I'm
hesitant to provide backports until both #677609 and #679837 are
fixed.
