Thanks! That was a VERY useful hint. With a bit of research I now know that the proposed updates get released with the next point release (6.0.5 in this case), and seeing as 6.0.4 was released on 28.1.2012 and point releases happen about every two months, I should be able to have installed both 'at' and the newer kernel version sometime in april. And if I need it earlier, I can temporarily enable squeeze proposed updates by adding a line like 'deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ stable-proposed-updates main' to my sources.list.
I now consider myself educated :-) -- Mit freundlichen Grüßen Martin Gerdes Fachinformatiker (Systemintegration) ********************************************************* * Deutsche Software Engineering& Research GmbH * * Postanschrift: * Steinstraße 11 - 02826 Görlitz - Germany * * Phone: +49 (0) 35 81 / 37499 - 0 * Fax: +49 (0) 35 81 / 37499 - 99 * * E-Mail: martin.gerdes@dser.de * Web: http://www.dser.de * * Sitz der Gesellschaft: * Steinstraße 11 - 02826 Görlitz - Germany * Registergericht: Amtsgericht Dresden - HRB 24819 * * Vertretungsberechtigte Geschäftsführer: * Johann Horch (CEO) - Marek Wester (CTO) ********************************************************* This e-mail may contain confidential and/or privileged information.
