The problem maybe, that the sponsoring DD is also responsible for the uploaded package. Since OpenJDK is not a trivial package any may need special knowledge, nobody feel the urge to jump in. This is nothing you could blame them for. What about asking the maintainer(s) of openjdk to upload the backport? Anyways... I'm off for vacation.
