Dear Norbert,

 that would be wonderful.
I gave it try on a tests-server.

"Subroutine load redefined at /usr/lib/perl5/Apache2/XSLoader.pm"

when trying to "use ModPerl::Registry ();"

I was already thinking about switching to testing, but on a 
production-server... Autsch.
