Square Kilometre Array

Hello, astro community

Here part of a message I sent to the tango[1] community for its annual meeting
It seems that Tango will gain some momentum in your community.

I created like you (thanks to Andreas :) the Debian-PAN blends (work in progress)
 which was closely related to the original community who created Tango (synchrotorn and neutron facilities)

This mail is just there to keep you informed that tango is already available in Debian and if you have contact
inside the ska community it would be a good idea to share this information.
It seems that they will offload the scientific computation into the aws[3] (amazone) . It would be a great
opportunity for you to contact them and maybe to have some propositions around oastro softwares.

cheers

Frederic

======================

It seems that the astronomy community (ERAS[5a], SKA[5b], ...) has
already joined us. Hopefully a Debian-Astro team[5c]
is already working on this subject. So do not hesitate to contact them.

you can find a list of the software already packaged here [5d]
