yes, a lot.

Indeed after the watchdog is turned off the box doesn't reset any more.

I downgraded the kernel to 4.9.82-1+deb9u3 and it's stable again. Thank you Martin.

Now, I could not find any suspect change in the changelog but at least I've enough info for opening a bug.
