Fwd: [Debian-med-packaging] Bug#806675: hmmer: nhmmer fails with fatal exception on armhf

Dear Debian ARM porters,

I have noticed an issue with a dependency of one of the Debian Med packages, see quoted message below. It looks like that even though the arm{el,hf,64} builds of hmmer seem to be successful, they deliver binaries that can fail at runtime, e.g. some of the homer unit tests, and also cause some of barrnap's reproducibility checks to break. Since that does not occur on the Intel architectures, I am suspecting an architecture-specific problem.

I wonder if you could be of any assistance? Debian Med team colleagues suggested I contact this mailing list about the issue — I don’t have any experience with the platform.

Thanks
Sascha
